Adopted a Fur Baby

I adopted a 11 months old yorkie named, Lulu from a friend. My friend was going to give her away due to her busy schedule, it was getting difficult to give Lulu the attention she needed. I couldn’t help it and wanted to adopt Lulu, since I got to know her. I would have been sad not to see her around anymore. She’s the sweetest and cutest little thing. So glad I was able to have her. My daughter couldn’t be more happier to have a new BFF.

After watching and reading many reviews on the different beauty boxes. I finally gave in and subscribe monthly to the BoxyCharm for $25 plus taxes. Which you'll receive 5 full products worth a total over $125. Not everyone will receive the same products, but similar, which I think is exciting to see what you’ll get. This is a great way for me to try new products that I never would thought of trying or purchasing, especially for the price. I’m no makeup artist, but I do love makeup, and try to wear it when I have the time.

My January BoxyCharm came with:

-Too Faced Cosmetic- Diamond Light Highlighter in Canary Diamond

-Ace Beaute- Eyeshadow Palette in Scarlet Dusk

-Wander Beauty-Trip for Two Blush and Bronzer Duo

-Grande Cosmetics- GrandeDRAMA Intense Thickening Mascara

-Glow Recipe- Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

-I‘ve been using the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask before bed and wake up with my face feeling soft and smooth. It smells great too, like watermelon which is so refreshing.

-The Scarlet Dusk eyeshadow palette is vibrant, pigmented, and didn't have any problem with fallout, which is a plus!

-I used the bronzer from the Wander Beauty to contour my cheekbones, nose, and forehead and blush on the cheeks. It's also pigmented, bold, and blends very well.

-I love highlights, but The Diamond Light Highlighter was probably my least favorite. It's a peachy, pink, and gold. It's more glittery, which I'm not used to wearing.

-I always have problem with mascara flaking or getting on the bottom of the eyes and end up with raccoon eyes. Let me tell you...the GrandeDRAMA Intense Thickening Mascara is a game changer. My lashes look longer and thicker. I didn't have any clumping or flaking. Best part is that it has castor oil and dries quickly.

Seriously, why haven’t I subscribe to this sooner? I love the BoxyCharm so much, I also subscribe to the BoxyLuxe which I will be receiving quarterly. I can't wait to see what I'll get in the February BoxyCharm and will have to wait in March for the BoxyLuxe.

Christmas Decoration

This is the second Christmas in my new home and I’ve decided to use most of the decorations from last years. I enjoy using the traditional colors and had added a few new items. Like touches of white, reindeers, different types of Christmas trees, a beautiful 25” Santa Claus, candles, and a some simple DIY projects. I like to shop in different places for the best deals, especially when planning on changing some of the decorations next year.
